Most of the residents at Gaston House come to us after completing primary treatment for drug & alcohol recovery. While primary treatment is a great starting point in recovery, our personal and professional experience has shown that the foundation is truly set in an aftercare setting. The Gaston House program offers an active schedule, which includes working a minimum of 25 hours a week, attending AA meetings, learning how to have fun in sobriety, or returning to school at one of the many universities or community colleges in the Dallas area.
Regardless of the undertaking, Gaston House staff is intent on supporting our residents as they become contributing members of society. Members of the community will attest that although the Gaston House program is challenging, it is one of the most rewarding things they’ve done. Gratitude, integrity, honesty, perseverance, service, unity and fun is the Gaston House way.
