Located in historic East Dallas, our Dallas Transitional Sober Living consists of two 8,000 square foot residences that are within a block from each other. Each house has been specifically renovated for comfort and efficiency, offering a safe and secure atmosphere of support with 24-hour staff supervision.
Together, both houses hold up to forty-five men. The original house includes seven individual, supervised apartments, three common community rooms, a dining room and a kitchen. Our second house is comprised of a 4 bed/4 bath home with a large kitchen, living area, and study, along with five individual supervised apartments each having bathrooms and kitchen areas.
Located directly next to the Junius house location is a 12 unit apartment complex. This location is reserved for guys that graduate the program and wish to stay connected to community. The apartments are offered as a step down to the transitional living program yet drug tests and alcohol tests are a mandatory stipulation.
Dallas is a dynamic city with vibrant recovery and faith communities and a healthy economy. The men at Gaston House typically have no problem securing employment, and engaging in the activities of the surrounding community through attendance at 12 step meetings, church, and taking on volunteer service commitments.
The Dallas-Fort Worth area every week contains over 1,200 AA meetings with multiple service opportunities that accompany them.
